Acceptance, friendship, communication, belonging to the community - this is the basis our "L`Arche-Kovcheh".

History
Zenia Kushpet brought the idea of creating the L`Arche community to Ukraine. A Ukrainian who was born and raised in Canada, a pianist by profession, a university lecturer with experience living in the L`Arche community in Canada, she gathered a group of interested people in Ukraine and began work on creating a community.

Timeline
L`Arche-Kovcheh in Lviv is the first L`Arche community in Ukraine to officially become a member of the International L`Arche Federation in 2008. The community has about 100 members (60 people with special needs and 30 assistants and volunteers).
